Work Packages Overview
The GRiNS project is structured into seven work packages (WP) that build upon each other and cover the entire value chain from needs assessment through development and testing to transfer.
WP 1 – Needs Assessment and Requirements Analysis
In the first work package, the specific qualification needs of SMEs in the construction sector are systematically assessed. Through surveys, interviews and workshops with companies, trainers and skilled workers, a differentiated picture of the existing competence gaps in the area of sustainable construction is developed.
WP 2 – Competence Modelling and Didactic Framework
Building on the results of the needs assessment, a competence model for sustainable construction is developed. This forms the basis for a didactic framework that defines the structure and methodology of the continuing education modules.
WP 3 – Development of Continuing Education Modules
In this work package, the concrete continuing education modules are developed. These are modularly structured, practically designed and take into account the specific conditions of SMEs – such as limited time and financial resources for continuing education.
WP 4 – Piloting and Practical Testing
The developed modules are tested in pilot runs with real participants from the construction industry. The feedback from participants and companies feeds directly into the optimization of the programs.
WP 5 – Scientific Evaluation
The scientific accompanying research evaluates the effectiveness of the qualification measures. Among other things, the competence gains of participants, the practical suitability of the modules and the transferability of results are examined.
WP 6 – Transfer and Sustainability
The aim of this work package is the sustainable anchoring of project results beyond the funding period. Transfer concepts are developed and cooperations with education providers, chambers and associations are established.
WP 7 – Project Management and Public Relations
The seventh work package covers overarching project coordination, quality management, internal and external communication, and public relations. This also includes maintaining the project website, social media activities and conducting specialist events.
