The bio innovation park Rheinland e.V. (bioIP e.V.) is committed to making the website grins-project.de accessible in accordance with the national legislation implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

This accessibility statement applies to the website grins-project.de and was prepared in accordance with Section 12b of the German Act on Equal Opportunities of Persons with Disabilities (BGG) in conjunction with the Accessible Information Technology Regulation (BITV 2.0).

This website is partially compliant with BITV 2.0 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

Known Limitations

The website is currently still in the active development phase. Despite our efforts toward accessibility, the following areas may still have limitations:

  • Images and graphics: Not all images have complete alternative texts. We are continuously adding these.
  • PDF documents: Some PDF documents offered for download may not be fully accessible. We are working on converting them to accessible formats.
  • Contrasts: In some areas of the website, contrast ratios may not yet meet the requirements of WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
  • Interactive maps: Embedded map content may not be fully operable with screen readers.
  • Videos: Subtitles or audio descriptions may not yet be available for embedded videos.

We are continuously working on improving the accessibility of our website.

Arbitration Procedure

If you have not received a satisfactory solution even after providing feedback to the above-mentioned contact, you can contact the arbitration body pursuant to Section 16 BGG. The task of the arbitration body is to support the out-of-court settlement of disputes on the topic of accessibility between people with disabilities and public bodies of the Federal Government.

The arbitration procedure is free of charge. No legal counsel needs to be engaged.
